Dan Bethelmy-Rada is an individual who is truly ahead of his time as the Global Brand President in the L’Oreal Professional Products Division. At age 40, he is the youngest DMI General Manager appointed company-wide. He has served in the position for 4 years and counting. Dan is probably best known throughout the beauty industry as an innovator in the field. His methods are fresh and effective and aid in the growth of further education and diversity in the workplace. Dan is a natural born leader who thrives in teaching others. Throughout his career he has trained numerous candidates for top marketing positions. His large and committed team prides itself on inclusivity and representation.
In a recent interview Dan went more in depth about how he got started in the beaut industry. As a self proclaimed globe trotter Dan has picked up many useful skills in his travels. Before he was 18 he had lived in three different countries. This exposure to different cultures taught him that there is no singular beauty standard. This realization has made him very successful in the beauty industry and photography. Photography is something Dan has had a passion for for many years. He really loves to capture the beauty in places and subjects that are often overlooked.
His desire to work for an international brand lead him to join L’Oreal. L’Oreal has allowed him to achieve his dreams of building marketing initiatives and growing a presence worldwide. Before he was an accomplished business leader he was a Product Manager for LaScad, a cosmetics distribution company owned by L’Oreal. Due to his nonstop work ethic he was able to progress his career relatively quickly.
