Lori Senecal is an executive in the marketing industry. As the Global Chief Executive Officer of CP+B, she manages this marketing firm’s international offices and strategy. She first joined CP+B in 2015 after having been a top executive at a number of other firms in the industry. She is well-known for fostering an innovative and collaborative environment which leads to very creative ways of marketing products.
Lori Senecal has been recognized by a number of publications in the marketing industry as one of the leaders in her field of work. For example, Advertising Age put her on their short list of “Agency Executives to Watch” two years ago. AdWeek publishes an annual Power 100 list. For two years in a row they said she was one of the foremost leaders when it came to marketing. Additionally, last year the publication Fast Company put her on their Most Creative People in Business list.
After graduating from college in Canada, Lori Senecal Moved to the New York area which is the heart of the marketing industry. Her first position in the industry came at McCann Erickson. Early in her career, she was very influential in developing a unity within this company called TAG Ideation. This is a unit of the company that focuses its efforts on developing marketing that is appealing to younger adults.
About six years after joining McCann Erickson, Lori Senecal was named its President. Lori stayed in this position for over two before jumping on a chance to co-found another marketing firm, Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners. As she was both the president and chief executive officer of KBS she was this firm’s top executive. About three years later, after KBS went international, she was given the roles of Global CEO and Executive Chairman.
Lori Senecal says that her experiences in high school and college as a gymnastics coach was key to her future success. She learned how to be an effective leader, especially when it came to learning how not to be judgemental.
